The Paramount Health Data Project (PHDP) is based on the knowledge that there is an interaction between health, poverty, and education that impacts overall health and wellness.

Development

MTSS is a nationwide systemic, continuous-improvement framework in which student data is used in schools to inform decision-making that supports students in their academic and socio-emotional development.

Implementation Outline

For site-based implementation of the Paramount Health Data Project, each school utilized the Counselor, Nurse, RTI or MTSS Coordinator, and a data specialist. The goal of the project is to use existing staffing and educational resources already in place so the implementation burden on the school site is minimized. This is called a “basic implementation”. New schools or struggling schools may not have all these positions onsite. In these cases, a more creative and personalized implementation is needed to appropriately administer the model.
